How I work
Welcome
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Coach using the Personal Consultancy model.
With a foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship, grounded in compassion, genuineness and attention, I wish to help my clients understand themselves better and therefore gain understanding in how they communicate within their world and take control over any unhelpful and limiting thinking.
Personally, I believe ‘relationship’ is the most important and integral part of the counselling journey, for my client to know that I am with them, they aren’t being judged and are in a safe space to express and work through whatever they need to.
In order to become healthy, it is important we look for help to restore and rebalance our lives but to also find the tools that work for us to move forward and thrive. An integration of both counselling and coaching gives us that.

What is the…
Personal Consultancy Model
Personal Consultancy model is a combination of counselling (to rebalance) and coaching (enabling growth) techniques. The Personal Consultancy framework offers a structure to therapeutic practice that allows full scope for the client to explore, identify, restore and bring long-lasting change. It is a map to navigate through the client’s journey; building strong foundations along with skills and courage to achieve their aspirations.
Metaphorically speaking, counselling can be seen as strengthening the foundations of a house whereas coaching is working on the house itself. In this context personal refers to the focus of the meeting on personal issues in a broad sense that can encompass relationship, social and professional challenges, and consultancy refers to a meeting to discuss something and decide what to do about it.
