Frequently Asked Questions

What happens at an assessment?

It is a chance for us to meet each other, for me to understand what’s brought you to therapy, and gives you the space to ask any questions and see if I’m the right therapist for you.

How do I know what I need?

Don’t worry, that’s my job! After our assessment, I’ll be able to recommend therapies for you. We’ll work together to make sure our sessions are exactly what you need and are achieving the aims you came for.

What happens in a session?

We take each session at a pace you are comfortable with and in a gentle manner. There are no complicated forms, no list of questions, just you and me, responding to what you bring.

What does Integrative mean?

Integrative means that I am trained to work with a variety of different therapy approaches. This knowledge allows me to tailor-make therapy to each individual.

Do you work with children?

Sadly not currently. I work with 18 years and over only at the present time. If you require help for an under 18, I recommend contacting the BACP who can advise on therapists for you.

How many sessions should I book?

I don’t ask you to commit to a number of sessions. At the start of our time together, we can decide how many to begin with and review as we go depending on your needs.

Where do the sessions take place?

I offer in-person consultancy at 15 Clarendon Rd, Watford, WD17 1JR and online sessions.

How do I get there?

By train/tube: Watford Junction (5 min walk), Watford Metropolitan (20 min walk). Bus Routes: 103/142/258/724/W30. Carpark: WD17 2RU (2 min walk)

When can I have sessions?

I offer sessions from Monday to Friday between 9am and 9pm.

If you do have any other questions or queries, I’d be more than happy to chat with you.
